What We DoThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of 9-10 outside sales representatives. This position will support them with key account relationships, territory growth optimization and leadership development, as well as working closely with the divisional manager to recruit and train area managers.

What You Will Do:

  • Create sales strategies that support company's goals.
  • Manage and support the day to day activities of the regional sales team.
  • Recruit, hire and train new area managers.
  • Analyze regional market conditions for growth opportunities.
  • Set area manager goals and regional annual forecast.
  • Develop and maintain key account relationships.
  • Monitor customer feedback and share with management
  • Coach, train and consult with area managers to meet sales goals
  • Travel to spend time with sales representatives in each market of the region

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and sales management
  • Previous experience managing a staff of sales professionals
  • Must be positive, resilient and have the ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations quickly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills that focus on key performance indicators
  • A resourceful team player with an ability to identify and solve problems while closely collaborating with other departmental teams
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms
  • Must be curious and open to input and learning from others
  • Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Demonstrated experience inspiring and motivating others to perform at their best
  • Requires strong ethics, honesty and sense of fairness
  • Must be empathetic and yet able to have difficult conversations and always be accountable

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $90,000 +
