Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine support activities in the technical support function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a technical liaison, is responsible for providing troubleshooting and repair technical support to company field engineers, technicians, and customers.
Assesses and responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software.
May report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to engineering.
This entry-level position requires knowledge of company product lines and troubleshooting methods.
May assist Sales Manager, and dealers in price quotes, technical questions, and product demonstrations.
Coordinates with Sales, Material Control, and Q.C. on customer queries.
Collects background data (cost, order history, etc.) to assist in large order negotiations.
Maintains competitive literature and pricing files for ready reference. Write application notes.
Assist with touchscreen product return testing and analysis.
Qualifications
3+ years' of technical support experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
Customer service oriented
Strong written and verbal and troubleshooting skills
