Position Description:
- Lead the CAE analysis of next generation Model e products, in one or more of the following areas: Body, Interiors, Closures, Seats and Frames.
- Work with D&R engineers to drive design resolutions using both linear and non-linear CAE analysis.
- Develop component, system and vehicle level CAE models and complete analysis following OEM CAE modeling/analysis guidelines.
- Direct other analysts to create CAE models and run analysis.
- Where appropriate, conduct DOE studies utilizing optimization tools to meet performance requirements within the constraints of conflicting attributes such as cost and mass.
- Develop CAE based countermeasures to meet requirements and work with program members to develop design proposals that meet cost and weight targets.
- Participate in CAE/design reviews to present and communicate findings with other team members.
- Maintain records of all CAE models and document as needed.
- CAE Analysis capability using various codes (pre- and postprocessing).
