Provides evidence-based care to patients that are mentally ill and/or with substance use disorder in the emergency department and inpatient medical unit settings through clinical assessment, coordination of care, and disposition planning. Collaborates as a multidisciplinary team to effectively treat and care for this patient population.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's Degree in social work (MSW) or Counseling (LPC).
Behavioral health experience preferred; crisis intervention preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Must obtain full licensure upon 12 months of completing 4,000 supervised hours in a full-time status.
Must sit for and pass The State Board after acquiring 4,000 hours of supervised social work experience.
