The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Transportation Department is seeking a part-time Project Engineer, full-time Program Manager, or full-time Senior Program Manager to provide planning and technical expertise in support of expediting critical surface transportation projects (e.g., roadway, tollway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian) in the region. The individual in this position will also support the Integrated Transportation and Storm-water Infrastructure (TSI) project, a regional effort to review floodplain regulations for counties that share watersheds. Due to the pandemic, the North Central Texas Council of Governments is currently permitting employees to work a hybrid schedule that consists of the equivalent of a minimum of two days per week in the NCTCOG offices in Arlington, Texas, and three days remotely from home within the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
