Cascade Asset Management (Cascade) was formed in 1999 to provide comprehensive information technology equipment retirement services for businesses, institutions and municipalities. The company now collects and receives in between 400 - 500 tons of computers, office electronics, consumer electronics and test equipment each month from sites across North America.

Processing Centers - Cascade operates two state-of-the-art processing centers, including its 39,000 square foot headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin (originally constructed in 2005 and expanded in 2007), and a 24,700 square foot processing and customer service center in Plainfield, Indiana, located just outside of Indianapolis (completed in the fall of 2006).

Capabilities - Each location features hauling and logistics services, asset control and tracking, refurbishing and repair, demanufacturing of equipment for recycling, and secure media destruction through electronic scrubbing of hard drives and physical destruction by shredding or punching of two inch holes through the drives. Whatever cannot be reused is disassembled using an optimal mix of physical and mechanical demanufacturing techniques to separate out hazardous materials from recyclable components. Disassembled commodities are sent to appropriate markets and processors for final treatment, with no hazardous waste being shipped to developing countries.

Growth and Future – Cascade has experienced continual growth since inception, with volumes for the past five years growing at more than 40% per month.
